Hand-drawn, colored in Photoshop 7. Hatake Kakashi from Naruto. Fanart.

...I know it seems like I'm just on a Kakashi fanart kick lately, but seriously, this is one that's been sitting in my files for months now. I've just never had the will to complete its coloring, but after the deviant previous to this one, I discovered the marvels of opacity/flow with the brush tool to create fun and easy lighting/shading! Started recoloring this one and finished in about 2 hours. (Distracted by chatting in-between.)

I just wanted to draw Kakashi in a fanart where he actually looked HAPPY. And not an amused "my students are so cute when they're at their witt's end" kind of happy, but something that reflected more of an inner tranquility. This is the result, and the "oekaki-like" coloring job gives it the feel I was hoping for that I never would have accomplished with my old methods. (Hey, maybe I'll just use this one from now on!)

I'm going to try and do some other Naruto characters now. You know. ...Like Naruto maybe. =P

Hope you enjoyed this one. It's now a personal favorite of mine. <3

I like it! It says "Ahhhhhh... finally.." Like after a long day's work. And it's drawn and colored well, too. (And nobody minds Kakashi kicks - bring 'em on!)
