Coon and Fox, original characters inspired by the series Naruto. Hand-drawn with a mechanical pencil. PLEASE FULL-VIEW. It's hard to see the gag on the sidelines there unless you do.

Before I get a lot of complaints about consistency here, let me state that yes, I know those aren't realy anbu masks/options from what's been given; and no, I don't really think the anbu masks are kept on by an elastic string. My friends and I have created our own squad of anbu characters out of pure fun, and the mask-snapping joke is purely meant for entertainment purposes--just go with it.

Coon is my character--a tempermental, work-a-holic, rookie anbu--and Fox is my best friend's character--a down-to-earth but occasionally mischevious anbu who can only talk in a horse-whisper ever since nearly getting killed on a failed mission.

Recently I've been sketching out designs for our anbu squad and this is one of the results. Coon's mask is correct, but Fox's is actually much simpler than the one I drew above (his is more like Naruto's face with three whisker lines), but I was messing around with designs at the time. Sadly, Coon and Fox aren't really in proper proportion with one another in the large shot. *sighs* I lose at perspective. But my hope is to distract viewers with the comical setting next to it.

In any case, as I complete more of our characters, I'll likely be posting them her on my DA. I'm not sure about the quality however, so I may move this to scraps later.....
